At an early age, I had a strong desire to help people. I was pre-med as an undergraduate. As I finished my studies, I realized that I no longer wanted to go to medical school but still wanted to be of service and do something that tapped into my desire to give back. 25 years ago, I saw an ad in the paper for a penny stock broker and thought it looked interesting so I applied for the position. Over the years, I have worked for various firms such as US Bank, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, Washington Mutual and UnionBanc Investment Services. I finally found my permanent home at SDCCU Investment Services. I loved that SDCCU wasn’t a big Wall Street firm and was drawn to the “main street” community feel that it offers its members.
As a San Diego native, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family in my hometown. Hit with the travel bug, I love seeking new experiences, exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I am also passionate about giving back. Over the last 25 years I have been involved with women’s philanthropy (Sigma Alpha) where we have focused our efforts in working with the organization Heartspring, a charity focused on serving children with severe autism.
Education and Experience. I listen and take great pride in educating my clients on the complexities of their financial lives. I try to take the anxiety out of investing by breaking down topics so that they can be easily digested and understood. I have over 25 years of experience as a financial advisor and enjoy building strong relationships and leveraging various solutions to help clients identify and pursue their financial objectives.
